About the Event
When Steve Litwer started volunteering to play the guitar for hospice patients around Kansas City, he found unexpected benefits. His volunteer experiences enhanced his personal healing, taught him valuable lessons about the impact of music, and led to compiling his observations into a book. The Music Between Us — Memoir of a Bedside Musician has been published to share details of 33 impactful hospice visits and link those experiences to reflections on his own life.
